CUKS hosted a vibrant "Soju Day" to celebrate the end of the Michaelmas term, welcoming both members and non-members to join in the festivities. The event featured soju, beer, and an array of Korean dishes traditionally enjoyed with these drinks, creating an authentic and lively atmosphere. With laughter, great food, and high-energy conversations, it was a perfect way to unwind and connect before the term's close.

The first CUKS x CKAS academic symposium of this academic year, this event was made even more special thanks to the sponsorship from KSEAUK (Korean Scientists and Engineers Association in the UK). Involving 3 PG and 1 UG speakers, as well as guest seminars from the KSEAUK president and Professor Kim Jong Min, this event was attended by 40+ members. 

The yearly-held UG social is an informal event where undergraduate CUKS members convene in a local pub to share drinks and laughter. It marks the exciting start of the new academic year, and allows members to catch-up with each other after the long summer holiday.

Following some light delicacies (courtesy of The Cambridge Brewhouse) and drinks, an everyone-invted round 2 was held in one of the member's flat. This included many Korean drinking games, laughter, and the solidification of friendships!

Our first event of the year! With all previous and incoming members coming together in a large social event, members were given a hearty welcome to the start of the new academic year. The committee members were introduced officially for the first time, and light snacks were provided for all guests to socialise over!

Following the opening ceremony in St Paul's Church, afters were held at a nearby pub, where members and new members got to know each other better! It was amazing to see familiar and new faces alike bond heartily over drinks and conversations.
